Ava Green is a busy senior. Her high school experiences included girls golf, cross country manager, Torch Club, student council, show choir, and Meistersingers. She plans on attending Southeastern University to receive her AA and bachelor’s degree, then transferring to U of I for Speech Pathology.
Favorite OHS memory - “One of my favorite OHS memories has to be homecoming week each year. It is always so fun and there are so many activities to do to keep everyone involved while staying safe, especially TP Night!!”
Most influential staff member - “I would have to say, Kelci Eakins. She has been there for me through everything throughout high school, whether it's at school or a late-night text. She cares a lot about her students and helping them.”
Advice to underclassmen - “It goes by faster than you can imagine. Enjoy the time you have with your friends and family, making the most memories you can. Stay on top of schoolwork so you can still go out and have fun. Go to all the sporting events, the student section is way more hype than you think, and be friends with everyone no matter the grade level!”
