Ottumwa Schools will be sending school meals home with every PK-12 face-to-face student on Monday, December 21. Students will receive meals at the end of the school day. Parents will need to make arrangements for their students to carry these additional items home. Items will be separated by perishable and non-perishable items.
The five breakfasts, five lunches, and a half gallon of milk will provide additional meals to our families during the holiday break. “This time of year is especially difficult for everyone and we want to support our families by decreasing the burden of food costs, while maintaining healthy choices,” said Yvonne Johnson, Director of Food Services.
