The deadline for Ottumwa parents to change the mode of instruction for their secondary student(s) for second semester has been extended to Friday, December 11.
The options for parents with students at Evans and OHS include:
- Student(s) moves from Bulldog Virtual Learning to face-to-face instruction.
- Student(s) moves from face-to-face instruction to Bulldog Virtual Learning.
As with the fall semester, the spring semester decision will be a semester-long commitment. For families who will remain in their current mode of instruction, no action is needed. If your family is making one of the following changes, please follow the instructions below on how to communicate your changes for second semester:
- Login to your Powerschool Parent Portal (https://ottumwa.powerschool.com/public/home.html)
- Click on the Forms icon on the left navigation bar.
- From the Annual Student Update screen, click on the form titled Online Learning Option.
- Click on the appropriate option and click Submit on the bottom right of the screen.
These forms will be available beginning on November 30. Families have until 4 p.m. on Friday, December 4, to indicate their changes. For planning and student enrollment purposes, please understand our need for this to be a hard deadline with no exceptions.
