Three sections of Culinary Specialty classes at OHS made 750 biscuits for an Ottumwa Fire Dept. Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraiser this past weekend.  Students worked in teams of two to produce 150 biscuits per class for two consecutive days.

According to Fareway store manager, Jason Abernathy, the fire department raised $1,695 in 90 minutes.

Special thanks to Fareway Stores for donating baking supplies, including 50 pounds of flour, 23 pounds of butter, four gallons of buttermilk, baking powder and baking soda.
