On Friday, November 6, five Culinary Entrepreneurial Opportunities students (Bulldog Cafe) participated in the annual Iron Chef Competition sponsored by Indian Hills. Due to COVID-19, the competition was held virtually.

Students served three judges, including Superintendent Mike McGrory; OHS teacher, David Becker;  and IHCC culinary student, Taylor Thornsberry. The menu included autumn wild rice soup, garlic bread, maple glazed pork chop, balsamic-roasted bacon brussel sprouts with potatoes, and salted caramel lava cake with toasted pecans and vanilla bean ice cream. Students were judged on taste and appearance for each entree.

Chefs competing included: Isabelle Cunningham, Abigail Mundell, May Tun, Tirina Joseph, and Thaw Htoo.
