Anna Wetrich- During her time at OHS, Anna was involved in bowling, intramurals, volunteered to earn a Silver Cord, and powderpuff. Anna plans on attending William Penn University to obtain her Bachelor's of Arts degree in human services. She will also be continuing her bowling career there.
Most Influential Teacher- “ My bowling coach Doug Techel. He wanted me to succeed not only in bowling but also in school. He helped me with a lot of areas I struggled with as a person. Everyday in bowling or anywhere we were together he would tell me this quote "Whether you think you can or can't you're right." This quote forever has stuck with me over the four years I was with him. He's a very important person in my life, not only because he helped me be successful in bowling but because he cared about the little things. Zach Forrett has worked with me in school for seven years. He was always there even when I didn't want him there. He was always willing to check over papers for me or support me in school. Over the years, there were times I wanted to give up and he never let me. There are not a lot of teachers like him that will drop everything that they are doing just to help you on something. I hope every student finds a "Mr. Forrett" and I am glad I had someone like him to support me through my years in school.”
Favorite High School Memory- Anna went to state all four years for bowling and was part of three state championship teams!
Advice to the Underclassmen- “High school goes by fast so remember to have fun once in a while!”
