LaToya Hines- Throughout high school, LaToya participated in track, powderpuff, intramural, silver cord, and a sorority. GEAR UP had a large impact, opening LaToya's eyes to new scholarships that were available to her. She is proud of her dedication throughout her time at OHS to both high school and college classes. LaToya plans to attend Indian Hills Community College to get her associate's degree, then transfer to Buena Vista to achieve her Bachelor's degree in Human Services.
Advice to the Underclassmen- “Definitely make sure to get your work done because falling behind and trying to catch back up is the worst. Also make sure you enjoy the time there, the memories will last a lifetime.”
