Marguerite Morrow-Lang- Throughout high school, Marguerite participated in Torch Club and JROTC. Marguerite plans to pursue a criminal justice degree at Indian Hills Community College.
Leadership Experience- “I was the deputy battalion commander in JROTC. I also commanded and trained a first year team and a Color Guard team”
Most Influential Teacher- “Chief wynn. He was a mentor to me. He helped mold me into who I am today. If it wasn't for him I'm sure I wouldn't be the person I am now. He pulled me out of my shell and put me into leadership positions because he knew I could do it. He helped me focus and not bounce around. He helped me when I was having a hard time in and outside of school. He was my center all 4 years of highschool
Favorite OHS Memory- “Going to drill meets really impacted me. You really bond with your fellow team members when you have to wake up at 2:00 or 2:30 in the morning to go to a drill meet out of state. And getting there and helping each other with uniforms and encouraging each other when you're there. Competing against and meeting other cadets that are working just as hard as you in something.”
Advice to the Underclassmen- "Focus on what is in front of you more than what is far away. Focus and breathe. You'll get through this. Just take it one day at a time.”
