Melanie Fischer
Melanie Fischer- Throughout high school, Melanie participated in marching band, concert band, Preludes, archery, bowling, and Torch Club. She would describe her experience at OHS as valuable. Melanie really enjoyed marching band competitions with her friends and giving her senior speech to the marching band. She is most proud of graduating with an AA and being inducted into the National Honors Society for both high school and Indian Hills. Melanie plans on finding a job while finishing classes for her AA degree at Indian Hills Community College.
Leadership Experience- “I stepped in as the spokesperson for the Bulldogs Archery Team at one of the pep assemblies because my friend was having a panic attack.”
Most Influential Teacher- “Mrs. Simonson because she shaped my character and the moral values that I live by.”
Advice to the Underclassmen- “Don’t take your time for granted because you never know what life can throw your way and enjoy every moment because you never know there could be another pandemic. ;)”
