Garraty Richmond - Sports played a big role in this senior’s high school career and that talent will spill over into his future plans. Garraty played football and was also a bowler, helping the bowling team get to state twice. He plans to go to William Penn University on a bowling scholarship and major in digital communications- video production.
Greatest Accomplishment - “Winning sixth place in the state bowling tournament individually and getting third place as a team. I was also able to help lead the bowling team to two state tournament appearances.”
Describe something about OHS that stands out to you - “Making new friends that will last a lifetime. Don’t dwell in the past, and don’t worry about the future, just focus on the present and being happy.”
Biggest Challenge - “Raising my ACT score.”
Favorite OHS Memory - “Running across the football field before the homecoming game. The energy was just unlike any other.”
Most Influential Coach - “My bowling coach Tom Maher. He taught me many valuable lessons for life and bowling. He also made sure I would be successful in everything I did.”
Advice to Underclassmen - “Don’t take anything for granted.”
