Paulina Ocegueda Gomez - This focused senior was involved in girls soccer, Talent Search, and JROTC (unarmed drill, color guard, and armed drill). Following graduation, Paulina plans to go to Indian Hills Community College and finish her Arts and Sciences degree, then apply to a four year university for nursing. Her aspiration is to become a newborn and delivery nurse.
Defining OHS Experience - “Working as a team for my soccer team and drill team because they are both my passions, which has helped me be determined and to always be committed.”
Greatest Accomplishment - “Finding myself more and knowing what I want to do after high school.”
Leadership Experience - “Being the OHS Bulldog Battalion Command Sergeant Major and being able to embrace my ethnicity.”
Most Influential Teacher - “Mr. Wynn because he is one of the most humble people I have ever met. He is always so genuine to the students and makes sure we are doing okay and well during the day. He is someone I will always look up to as I grow up. He sets the example for having such a big impact on the JROTC cadets.”
Favorite OHS Memory - “Having at-home soccer games and JROTC drill meets.”
Advice to Underclassmen - “Do your work and turn it in on time. Keep your head up because it'll be worth it at the end.”
