Serena Holtsman
Serena Holtsman - Diverse interests including participation in soccer, International Youth Conference, Human Rights Youth Chapter, and dance kept this senior active. Serena plans to attend Indian Hills Community College.
Leadership Experience - “I was a part of the HRYC (Human Rights Youth Chapter) and we all must lead in the group as a team. And during soccer season, as a defense player being center means you help lead the defense as a whole.”
What lessons will you take away from your OHS experience? - “You never know how much something is going to mean and affect you or someone else so go about being kind at the very least. If you aren't, you will regret it.”
Influential OHS staff person - “The really nice janitor who always brought the trash can over to our lunch table. I waited on him at my work, as a waitress, and he was always nice and I meant to learn his name but I never got to.”
Advice to Underclassmen - “It is going to be okay, I swear it. 'This, too, shall pass' is the real deal.”
