Meghan Cantu
Meghan Cantu - A variety of organizations played a part in this senior’s high school experience. She was involved in Art Club, GEAR UP Ambassador’s, Human Rights Youth Chapter, Iowa Youth Congress, Youth Media Advisory Council, and Al Exito!, which promotes a college-going culture. The club also promotes leadership skills and requires students to do service projects. Meghan plans to attend the University of Iowa and major in pre-med.
Greatest Accomplishment - “I was able to make connections in the community regarding leadership and I spearheaded a feminine hygiene products drive!”
What lessons will you take away from your OHS experience? - “I will continue to manage my time efficiently! I was able to foster my leadership skills to make a difference.”
Advice to Underclassmen - “Make sure to write down all your assignments and everything you have to do for the day!”
