OHS has scheduled their annual Academic Planning Day for January 17. Students in grades 9-11 will receive their scheduling card with an appointment time to meet with their counselor in the coming weeks. Appointments will start on January 20 and run through February 14. Throughout their regularly-scheduled classes on Friday, students will learn about course options available and create a tentative course schedule.
Each teacher will describe course offerings for the upcoming school year. For example, English teachers will talk about honors versus regular and dual credit options. All teachers will provide information on planning out their high school course of study.
Parents are invited to attend their student's scheduling appointment to provide input to the scheduling process.
