On Friday, November 9, Eddie Mauro visited students from the OHS Human Rights Youth Chapter. It’s was great that they were given the opportunity to have a personal conversation with a former teacher running for senate. The group spent an hour discussing many issues including gun control, rights for undocumented individuals, climate change, implicit bias, and more. Mauro connected with the students and helped them realize their ability to bring change! "I was proud of our kids," said Barb Hanson, club sponsor. "They represented our school and community well!"
