The Ottumwa Bulldogs Archery Team is accepting new students to try archery during their free pre-season archery practices during the month of October!
Participants MUST be a 4th through 12th grade student enrolled in the Ottumwa Community School District, must have passing grades, and must be accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian to sign up. There are no fees, all equipment is provided, and students will work with experienced and certified coaches. Parents/Guardian MUST attend 1st practice to complete the required permission form.
All pre-season practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at Ottumwa High School, Door 5, upstairs in the rubber gym. Practice schedule will be: Elementary students 4th and 5th grade, 6-7 p.m.; Evans Middle School students, 7-8 p.m.; high school students, 8-9 p.m.
The first practice, sign-up, and information meeting will be held Tuesday and Thursday, October 1 and 3. For safety, participants MUST wear short sleeves, closed toe shoes, shoulder length hair must be tied back, long bangs must be pinned back.
