On Thursday, September 19, students at OHS will have an opportunity to participate in a non-political straw poll during lunch (voting on cookie preference, chocolate chip verses Oreos). This is to help familiarize students with the voting process. If they would like, they can also register to vote if they are 17 1/2 or older. They will need to bring their driver's license number, if they have one. This opportunity is being provided by the Human Rights Youth Chapter in partnership with the Ottumwa YMCA, United Way, League of Women Voters, and LULAC.
