OHS Block Party Kicks Off Year

Ottumwa High School will host its annual Bulldog Block Party on Monday, August 19 from 5-8 p.m. The OHS JROTC, band, and cheerleaders will be on hand to kick-off the event. Students are encouraged to wear their red and white Bulldog gear and may get prizes for doing so.

Students and their family can enjoy FREE food, get information about OHS clubs/activities, and try to conquer the rock-climbing wall from 5-6 p.m. Principal Richard Hutchinson will meet with students and parents from 6-6:30 p.m. in the OHS auditorium for a brief message. Teachers will be then be available to meet with students and parents from 6:30-8 p.m. in the cafeteria. Counselors will be on hand to distribute student schedules for the upcoming year. All students and their parents are encouraged to attend.
