On Tuesday, October 30, OHS students will have the opportunity to participate in the Iowa Youth Straw Poll during their lunch. Students will have to sign in and vote. Thanks to the Wapello County Auditor's office for allowing OHS students to use their voting booths. We have received the Congressional District ballots, #BeAVoter banners, I Voted stickers, and all who participate will receive a lollipop.
We want to showcase student involvement this political season and hope this will be a fun event for students. We encourage students to upload their photo on Facebook, instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #BeAVoter #IAYouthStrawPoll #OttumwaOHS.
