The Ottumwa High School GEAR UP program is proud to announce the 2018-19 ambassadors. Ambassadors were selected after completing an application and being interviewed by a panel.
The group will meet weekly and be student led by Ambassadors Meghan Cantu and Hasya Joshi. The ambassadors will oversee two major projects which they will develop and implement a plan for, independently. There is also an emphasis on team building and leadership development.
"Ambassadors are critical to the success of Ottumwa Gear Up," said Barb Hanson, GEAR UP coordinator. "Ambassadors volunteer at GEAR UP events and communicate information and opportunities with their peers."
