The Ottumwa High School Student Council has announced the theme and schedule for the 2018 homecoming. Events are scheduled during the week of September 17.

Monday, September 17
- Dress up theme: “Team Day”
- Event: Powderpuff Football - 6 PM @ Schafer Stadium
Tuesday, September 18
- Dress up theme: “Formal Day”
- Event: Boys Golf - 3:30 PM @ Clear Creek Golf Course
- Girls Swimming - 5:30 PM @ Des Moines Lincoln High School
- Volleyball - 4:45 PM (9th), 5:45 PM (10th/JV), 7:30 PM (Varsity) @ Evans Middle School
Wednesday, September 19-
- Dress up theme: “Wacky Wednesday”
- Event: Homecoming Parade - 4:30 PM
- Coronation - After parade @ Central Park
Thursday, September 20
- Dress up theme: “Movie Day” (favorite characters from a movie)
- Event: OHS Got Talent - 6:30 PM @ OHS cafeteria
- Bon Fire & Fireworks - Following OHS Got Talent
- Boys and Girls Cross Country - 4:30PM @ Indianola
- Boys Golf - 3:30 PM @ Ottumwa Country Club
- 9th & JV Volleyball - 5 PM @ Evans Middle School
- 10th Football - 6 zPM @ Schafer Stadium
Friday, September 21
- Dress up theme: “Red and White - Bulldog Spirit”
- Event: Varsity Football Game - 7 PM @ Schafer Stadium
Saturday, September 22
- Event: OHS Homecoming Dance (Neon Theme) - 8 PM - 12 AM @ OHS Cafeteria
Tickets: $7 before dance, $10 at the door (Must have STUDENT ID to enter dance)
