Twenty-one members of the Ottumwa Bulldogs Archery Team competed in the Iowa Summer Games in Ames on July 21. The archers participated in an outside tournament with wind speeds of 12-15 mph with gusts of up to 20 mph. Despite the wind conditions, four archers medaled and qualified to participate in the State Games of America to be held in Louisiana during summer of 2019. This competition ended the 2017-18 season for the archers.
