Ottumwa High School will host an Education Fair on Thursday, May 3 from 5-7 p.m. in the OHS cafeteria.
This event is for all high school students and their parents. Participants are encouraged to come learn about different progams available to students, including Educational Talent Search, GEAR UP, and Upward Bound. In addition, information on dual credits, ACT's, PACE/GAP, Silver Cord, Gallon Grad and vocational rehabilitation services. There will also be booths with representatives from the following colleges: Iowa State University, University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa, Indian Hills Community College including Student Support Services and TRIO, Drake University, Iowa Lakes Community College, William Penn University, and Buena Vista University.

Parents can also learn more about financial aid options and college loans. Childcare is available and STEM activities will be available for students in grades 6-12, sponsored by John Deere. The event is sponsored by Ottumwa Schools, Al Exito!, ACT, United Way of Wapello County, Iowa Works, and Community 1st Credit Union.
