The Ottumwa High School trap shoot team will host their first home shoot Saturday, April 14 at the Ottumwa Izaak Walton League. The event begins at 8 a.m. and will end around 4:30 p.m. There are 29 athletes this year, three varsity, 13 junior varsity, and 13 intermediates. Admission is free and concessions will be available.
This past weekend, Madison Konrad took first place in the ladies division. In Intermediate ladies division, Kaylee House brought home a 4th place medal. The JV Squad consisting of Brae Simmers, Zach Ross, Reese Jones, Jaxton Elliot and Cole Van Nest, took first place. JV individuals Brae Simmers placed second and Zack Ross placed fifth.
