The Ottumwa Community School District’s Fine Arts Department will host their Holiday Band Concert for instrumental students in grades 5-12 on Sunday, December 10 at 2 p.m. in the Ottumwa High School auditorium.
The fifth and sixth grade bands are under the direction of Kylee Martin. Selections will include: “Cardiff by the Sea,” “Carols of Joy,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Good King Wenceslas.” Songs styles include folk and traditional.
The 7/8 concert band will perform “A Cartoon Christmas,” “The First Noel,” and “Christmas Flourish.” The band is directed by Pam De Boer.
The high school selections include “And All The Bells Shall Ring,” “Christmas on the Town Square,” “Christmas Vacation.” The high school band is under the direction of Troy Gerleman.
