The Ottumwa High School Bulldog Café will begin serving lunch on Thursday, September 28. The cafe, located outside room 212, will serve lunch at 11:10 a.m., 11:40 a.m., and 12:10 p.m. The menu will include garlic pasta with prawns or roasted cauliflower steaks over pasta; rice and vegetable pilaf; fresh strawberry granita, and a beverage for $6.50. Meals are available for delivery for an additional $.50 per meal, without the beverage. This year, meals will be served on Thursday due to the change in the district’s professional development schedule.
OHS students in the Culinary Entrepreneurial Opportunities class are involved in all aspects of operating the cafe. Reservations are required by Wednesday. To make a reservation, call 683-4444 x 1212 or email heather.cran[email protected]. All proceeds support the program.
