The Ottumwa Bulldogs Archery Team competed in their first competition for the 2016-2017 season at South Tama High School on Saturday, December 3.
The team came home with the following awards and medals:
- Ottumwa High School Team - 3rd Place
- Evans Middle School Team - 3rd Place
- Liberty Elementary Team - 3rd Place
- Elementary Girls 2nd Place, Erinne Mendibles, James Elementary, with a score of 243 and 5 tens.
- Elementary Girls 3rd Place, Kiley Bankson, Liberty Elementary, with a score of 229 and 5 tens.
- Elementary Boys 3rd Place, William Miller, Horace Mann Elementary, with a score of 244 and 3 tens.
- Middle School Boys 2nd place, Jeff Shauman, Evans Middle School, with a score of 276 and 14 tens.
- Middle School Boys 3rd place, Jordan Sylvester, Evans Middle School, with a score of 270 and 10 tens.
The team will host a tournament Saturday, December 10 at Evans Middle School.
