OHS students will be part of a musical video pitch to bring Mumford & Sons to Ottumwa next summer.
Bridge View Center spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday recording video footage of various community groups, including several OHS student groups, to create a video. The goal is to convince Mumford & Sons, a folk rock band from England, to pick Ottumwa as one of the sites for their summer tour in 2014. The OHS marching band, Pride of Ottumwa, and the Meistersingers provided musical support. Two OHS classrooms, OHS cheerleaders, and the entire freshman and sophomore classes were all involved in the filming. The crew came back later in the day to capture footage of OHS football players as well.
