OHS has several activities planned for Homecoming week, culminating with the varsity football against Marshalltown and dance on Friday night. Students are encouraged to dress for the different theme days throughout the week.
Activities for the week include:
Monday - September 23
- Twin Day
- Powderpuff football from 6 - 10 p.m. at Schafer Stadium
Tuesday - September 24
- Neon Day
Wednesday - September 25
- Superhero Day
Thursday - September 26
- Concert T-Shirt Day (student picture during Advisory)
- Parade 6 p.m. starting at OHS and ending in Central Park
- Open Mic Night 6:45 - 8:30, $1 admission, hot dogs, chips, drink
- Bonfire - starts when Open Mic Night ends
Friday - September 27
- Red & White Day
- Varsity football at 7:30 ap.m. at Schafer Stadium
- Homecoming Dance 9-midnight
