Fundraising Luau on Saturday

Fundraising Luau on Saturday

This 1970s banner will be auctioned off on Saturday.

Parents and supporters of the Ottumwa High School marching band are hosting a fundraising luau on Saturday, January 17 from 5-8 p.m. at the National Guard Armory. Activities throughout the evening will include a silent basket auction and hula dancers. There is an admission to the event. All proceeds will be used to support efforts to raise money to send the marching band to the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade next December.

To donate a silent auction basket, contact Heather Burgess at 641-799-5588 or Peggy Eskew at 641-680-9438. Parents are planning other fundraisers this winter and spring, including a spaghetti dinner in February and a 5K run later this spring.

Donations can also be made by going to the Go Fund Me website at gofundme.com/fic8w0.
