OHS will host their annual Block Party on Thursday, August 20 starting at 5 p.m. on Second Street, in front of the high school. The event kicks off the school year with a festive atmosphere featuring games and a dunk tank. The OHS band and cheerleaders will perform and there will be free food available from 5-6 p.m. Principal Mark Hanson will address parents and students at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. Meet teachers and staff in the cafeteria from 6-7:30 p.m. There is also a food drive. For every non-perishable food item brought, your name will be entered to win: TV’s, Beats by Dre, Ipods, gift cards, and more. Attending the principal message provides another chance to win prizes.
