The OHS show choir, Sudden Impact, placed 1st in the 4A division and also had the highest score out of all of the 14 show choirs that competed at the Indianola Show Choir Invitational on February 22. This is the first time in school history that the show choir placed first at this invitational.
Madalynn McKelvey was awarded best female soloist for the entire day of competition. This was Sudden Impact's first competition of the year. They will compete at Fort Madison on March 8, Cedar Rapids Washington on March 15, and West Delware on March 22.
