The Ottumwa Athletic Club recently received a $1,000 grant from the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community grant. The grant is based on the volunteer efforts of Allstate agent, David Weilbrenner. Grants are awarded based on an agent's community service to an organization. Weilbrenner, who also serves on the Board of Education, is involved with fundraising efforts with the A Club.
The grant funds will be used to support district athletic programs.
