Ottumwa High School will welcome the Class of 2021 with a Freshman Orientation on Tuesday, August 22 from 12-3:05 p.m. Students will be placed into groups and rotated between lunch and activities until 1:30 p.m. Freshmen will then have a chance to locate and open their locker, then spend the rest of the afternoon running through their schedule and meeting teachers. Students will also receive a free t-shirt. Shuttle bus locations will provide transportation if needed. The schedule includes:
- Douma Elementary 10:50 a.m.
- Eisenhower Elementary 10:50 a.m.
- Evans Middle School 11:45 a.m.
- Horace Mann Elementary 11:00 a.m.
- James Elementary 11:10 a.m.
- Liberty Elementary 11:00 a.m.
- Wilson Elementary 11:45 a.m.
- Corner of Albia Road and Minneopa Ave (Bridge City Bowl) 11:10 a.m.
- Corner of East Main St. and Franklin St. (Foster Park) 11:30 a.m.
- 1112 North Van Buren Avenue (Ottumwa Schools District Office) 11:30 a.m.
