The OHS Student Council hopes to help local veterans.
Following the Iowa Student Council's state project of helping veterans, the local council will host a Veteran's Breakfast on Sunday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the OHS cafeteria. The menu includes bacon, eggs, pancakes and a choice of milk and juice. A free will offering will be collected, with proceeds going to the local VFW chapter.
"We are hoping for a lot of people to attend," said Emily Johnson, OHS student council president. "We hope it becomes an annual event."
