Ten students at Ottumwa High School were recently selected to be part of the Pride of Ottumwa Color Guard for the 2017-18 season. The color guard provides additional interest to the band through dance, spinning flags, and movement.
Each member completed a week of practices, learned two routines, and auditioned for judges. The squad members demonstrated hard work and precision throughout the audition process. "I am looking forward to working with this wonderful group of young ladies,” said Pam De Boer, color guard director. “It is rewarding to see the growth each student makes as part of the color guard, especially the progression from middle school through their senior year."
Students selected include: Brooke McCoy, Trailyn Evans, Shelby Bullock, Grace Milder, Ricki Rupe,
Natalie Bennett, Sarah Goers, Kristiana Parr, Eden Anders, and Jade Davis.
