Volleyball Supports Hunger and Youth Players

The Ottumwa High School volleyball teams will have a busy night during their next home game on Tuesday, September 27 against North High School. All games are played at Evans Middle School.

The Lady Bulldogs have chosen to highlight Growing Wapello Together, where ANY community member can get FREE admission to the game if they bring a food pantry item. Growing Wapello Together is an organization that collaborates with multiple agencies to provide local food access and food security. They are in need of canned items such as canned tuna and canned fruits.

It is also Elementary Volleyball Night. Any athlete who plays on an elementary volleyball team can get in free and sit behind the varsity team starting at 7:30 p.m. with their elementary coach. The young players will be recognized prior to the game.

The game schedule against North includes:  9th grade and junior varsity start play at 5:45 p.m. and varsity follows at 7:30 p.m.

Come out and support your Lady Bulldogs, Growing Wapello Together, and your elementary volleyball athletes.
