It was another good weekend for the OHS JROTC Drill and Color Guard Teams, according to Chief John Wynn. The students competed at Waterloo West against 10 other teams from Iowa and Nebraska.
The 1st year team continues to lead the way with a 1st place finish for Color Guard, and a 4th place finish in regulation drill. The team as a whole finished with a 3rd place for inspection (a combination of uniform appearance and academic questions). The older cadets finished 4th in regulation drill and 4th in Color Guard. Cadet Lois Ivey placed 4th out of 50 cadets in an individual drill competition.
