The OHS drama department will present "The Importance of Being Earnest" on Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the OHS auditorium. Tickets are available at the door for $8. The show is directed by Natalie Dommer.
The play, a comedy written by Oscar Wilde, revolves around Jack, a carefree young gentleman who invented a fictitious brother, “Ernest.” The brother's wicked ways afford Jack an excuse to leave his country home from time to time and journey to London, where he stays with his close friend and confidant, Algernon Moncrieff.
Cast members include Isabella O'Brien, Jacob McDowell, Zack Kirkman, Dylan Paulk, Pablo Alvarado, Madalyn Morris, Savannah Ford, Esther Emberton, and Kalina Eskew, Philip Shrimplin, David Halvorsen, Chris Caldwell, Kele Allison, Mataya McClish, Melanie Forcier, Elizabeth Milner, and Grace Milder. Stage manager is Riley Albertson and assistant stage managers are Jennifer Culver and Jenna Post.
