The Ottumwa High School Interact Club is sponsoring a can drive through November 22. OHS students are encouraged to collect items and bring them to their third hour class. The class that collects the most items will be rewarded an afternoon off to go bowling or to the movies. Cans will be counted each Thursday. Leaders will be announced on Fridays.
The club has also designated a double point item each week.
- Week of October 28: macaroni and cheese
- Week of November 4: peanut butter
- Week of November 11: canned tuna or chicken
- Week of November 18: canned beans (green beans not counted for double points)
Please note that Ramen noodles will not be included in class totals this year.
