The OHS JROTC program recently had two lessons on bullying. The first lesson focused on cyber-bullying. The second lesson included a 90-minute video and book called "Bully." After the presentations, cadets identified situations that would be considered bullying, how to communicate or report the issue to administration, and what rules the groups would like to see that would be used beyond the district and OHS's current policies. Cadets ended the program by creating posters on anti-bullying that featured some of their supplemental rules. Students learned that they have the power to make a difference.
