Financial Aid Information for Graduating Seniors

Financial Aid Information for Graduating Seniors

OHS encourages all students to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the first step in the financial aid process. Use it to apply for federal student financial aid, such as the Pell Grant, student loans, and college work-study. In addition, most states and schools use FAFSA information to award their own institutional financial aid.

The Federal Student Aid office from the Department of Education continues to encourage students to apply using the online application.

Pay attention to the deadlines! There are federal and state deadlines, and your choice college may also have a deadline.  For more information, please refer to www.fafsa.ed.gov/deadlines.htm.
OHS students and families will have multiple opportunities for help completing the FAFSA.
