A recent assignment in Mrs. Carpenter's early bird class, Public Speaking, resulted in a visit from a calf.
The assignment in the dual credit class was to create a Powerpoint presentation and to demonstrate something. OHS senior, Jim Milani, integrated his love of farming into the assignment. The result -- taking a calf to class to demonstrate how to bottle feed it. Milani plans to work on his family farm after college graduation. "We (my class) were all amused to find a calf wearing Depends greeting us at 7AM!" said Mrs. Carpenter.
