Zoe Klodt was last week's recipient of Victory With Honor. She, along with her first period classroom, was treatedwith a snack as part of the award.
Zoe was seen helping a student in distress in the halls. A student with an IEP was upset and started screaming in the hallway. Zoe started talking to the student and showed interest and care in a very calm manner. She helped calm the student by asking questions about the student's mom. She walked with him all the way back to the student's classroom before returning to class as if nothing happened. Most students would not know what to say and be cautious in helping, but Zoe had no second thoughts and acted very honorably.
Starting in May, students will nominate their peers through Twitter. Students will be selected based on the number of retweets.
