Several OHS students in the Best Buddies club spent a few hours Saturday playing basketball in the OHS wooden gym.
Best Buddies is part of a national non-profit organization that creates one-to-one friendships. The OHS club matches a general education student with a student with an intellectual or developmental disability. Students meet monthly for a group activity and make contact weekly in school.
This project is funded by the Legacy Foundation's Bright Ideas grant and the OHS Safe and Supportive Schools grant.
