Ottumwa High School is offering students a ZAPS test-preparation seminar on Tuesday, March 18 from 9-3 p.m. Seminar cost is $79. Register at www.zaps.com or call 877-927-8378 for assistance.
Students who complete a ZAPS ACT-prep seminar — and practice the tips and strategies at home — typically raise their scores by 2 to 4 points. With a top score of 36 and the national average now at 21, a score increase is an advantage.
In the five-hour ZAPS ACT-prep seminar, your student will —
- • Learn tips for improvement in all four subtests
- • Practice strategies to eliminate wrong answer choices
- • Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience
- • Prepare to write a well-organized, persuasive essay
- • Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence
- • Receive a comprehensive Study Guide and 24 practice-test workouts
Please remind your student to bring two pencils and a calculator to the seminar. Full-day seminars include a 30 to 45 minute lunch break. Students are responsible for their own lunches.
If the date is inconvenient, consider registering your student for the online ZAPS seminar presented by a live instructor in a webinar format. You'll find all available webinars listed at www.zaps.com.
