The OHS Anti-Bullying club, Stand Up and Speak, is hosting an Anti Bullying Spirit Week October 26-31. The days of the week will have a different color. Each color represents raising awareness for some aspect/reason/result of bullying:
- Monday: Green (Childhood Depression Awareness)
- Tuesday: Orange (Racial Acceptance)
- Wednesday: Yellow (Suicide Prevention)
- Thursday: Purple (Domestic Violence Prevention)
- Friday: Blue (Bullying Prevention)
On Friday, members from Stand Up and Speak will be going into advisories and fourth period classes to paint fingernails blue to symbolize taking a stand against bullying.
