Ottumwa High School students enrolled in metals class will be participating in state competition this weekend. “Traditionally, our students have brought home championship ribbons each year,” said Principal Mark Hanson.
Participating students and their project include: Chris Pilcher, Trike; Mitch Glantz, Cooler Cart; Justice Skinner and Zach Grooms, Fire Pit; Justice Skinner and Zach Grooms, Motorized Little Red Wagon; Chance Courtney, Mike Akers, Jr., and Kolten Bates, Ultimate Mileage Vehicle, Team 1; Sam Gulbranson, Gunther Hartman, Ryan Fritz, Bryar Bell, Jim Milani, Austin Wheaton, Dwayne Vice, Seth Staton, and Kolten Fountain, Ultimate Mileage Vehicle, Team 2; Jim Milani, Hay Feeder; Jim Milani, Hay Ring, and Jim Milani, Tire Mount.
