Parent teacher conferences in the Ottumwa School District will be held Monday – Thursday, February 23 through February 26 for grades preK-12. Students will be released Thursday, February 26 at 1 p.m. and no classes or conferences will be held on Friday, February 27.
OHS advisory teachers will contact parents in early February about conferences. Parents are asked to see their student’s advisory teacher first. The advisor will have important documents for parents to review, including the student’s academic transcript, a Graduation Requirement Checklist form, a current progress report for the current semester, and a 2015-16 course selection list. All teachers will be in the cafeteria on Tuesday, February 24 between 4 - 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 26 from 5 - 8 p.m. All OHS teachers will be available in their classrooms for walk-in appointments on Thursday from 1:30 - 4 p.m. This format allows parents to meet with their student’s advisory teacher and any classroom teachers to discuss academic performance. Interpreters will be located in the cafeteria if needed.
ACA parents may schedule an appointment with teachers on Tuesday from 4 - 7:30 p.m. or Thursday from 1:30 - 4 p.m. and 5 - 8 p.m. Contact the ACA at 683-1342 for an appointment.
