Two Seniors are Bulldog Tough

Two Ottumwa High School seniors were recognized during the Homecoming pep assembly for being Bulldog Tough. The award was created this year to recognize students who have a “don’t quit” attitude.

Madisyn Schlotter has been battling Rumination Syndrome over a year. This is a very rare disease that causes her to not be able to eat or keep food down.  Due to the rarity of this syndrome, she has to eat through a PIC line and has missed a tremendous amount of school. Principal Hanson shared with the student body that she “shows great grit and stick-to-itness.”

Madison Wiley works hard at everything she does. According to Hanson, she was a star on the powderpuff football field this week and is an outstanding athlete in various sports.
